本日は当院の培養幹細胞治療の中の幹細胞についてお話します。
幹細胞とは自己複製と分化能を併せ持つ細胞の事を指します。
自己複製とは自分自身をコピーをする事、分化能は分裂した細胞が様々な物に変化する事を言います。
この二つが幹細胞の定義になります！
その中でも当院の治療で扱っている幹細胞は間葉系幹細胞である脂肪由来の幹細胞を扱っています。
この幹細胞の特徴として脂肪や軟骨、骨細胞へと分化できる効果があるので
当院では関節包と呼ばれる関節の袋の様な物の中に注射をする事で関節内の軟骨細胞や骨細胞になる事を期待します。
その他にもこの間葉系幹細胞から出る物質で慢性炎症反応を抑える効果があります。
よって変形性膝関節症に行う場合、膝関節内の慢性炎症を抑えて軟骨や骨細胞の再生を期待していく治療です！
効果の出方としては膝の状態や、体重、ライフスタイルで変わってきます。
症状が軽いうちに行う事で効果が出やすくなりますので、早めに治療する事をお勧めします！
